Biryani Workshops at SAADI

We love to teach and we love to eat, so we’ve combined our loves to bring you workshops at SAADI.

This July 11 and 18, we are running two, hands-on chicken biryani workshops followed by lunch. The perfect dish to learn for winter, if you ask us.

With only 10 spaces available for each session, we invite you into the SAADI kitchen and teach you how to:

  • make the chicken marinade

  • marinate the chicken

  • deeply caramelise your onions to fragrance your biryani

  • make the biryani masala

  • layer your biryani

  • show you the best way to cook biryani

Lunch will be served after the workshop, which will include snacks, chicken biryani and raita.

At the end of each session, you will take home the cooked biryani (yes, more!) you made in the workshop, a recipe booklet so you can replicate what you’ve learned at home (with bonus recipes), and a packet of our biryani masala to get you started.
